"What I love about 3D printing is that it changed the way myself and my children look at problems.  Anything that we need, our first thought is how can we 3D print it?"
~Kai Oshiro

Jonathan Pananganan was born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii and graduated from James Campbell High School in 2012. He is currently a 1LT in the Hawaii Army National Guard and deployed with 1-487FA to Afghanistan in 2019-2020. Kai introduced 3D printing to Jonathan after their deployment and has been hooked on it ever since.

"I see 3D printing as a tool that can be used to help solve problems and spark inspiration."
~Jonathan Pananganan

Kanalu Kaowili was born and raised on the west side of Oahu and graduated from Kamehameha schools Kapalama in 2010. He is currently a Sergeant in the 1-487th Field Artillery unit of the Hawaii Army National Guard and has deployed to Afghanistan in 2019-2020. Kanalu has experience with Hawaiian wood working and enjoys "playing with tools" from heavy duty machinery to small work tools. Kanalu's passion is to build up, teach and protect others bringing hope to young people in Hawaii to strive and do the same.

"3D printing is the best way to bridge the gap between creative, inventive, curious young people and the industrial world in 2020. It provides a playground for kids to grow their mind and skills for Hawaii's future."

Alyssa Cabingas was born and raised in San Jose, California and graduated high school in 2016. In 2018, Alyssa moved to Hawai’i to further her education at University of Hawai’i - West O’ahu, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is also currently a Student Life Coordinator at UH West O’ahu and is planned to graduate Fall 2021.

“Having access to a variety of 3D printers has encouraged me to think outside the box when it comes to creativity. Now I could make cool gadgets for my siblings and show them what it could do, hoping that it inspires them as much as it did for me.”
